About Us

     Dr. Lepakshi Raju earned her Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science in the year 2019. Prior to her doctoral studies, she did her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from BMSCE, Bengaluru.
During her journey of research, she self discovered her zeal towards Green building Technology. She has 9 years of research experience working on the characterization of low embodied carbon materials specifically rammed earth. Her doctoral study has direct impact on alternative building construction industry. She has three papers published in international journals and three more are yet to be communicated. She has presented one of her study at the First International Conference on Rammed Earth Construction (ICREC2015, University of Western Australia, Perth, Western Australia, 10-13 February 2015) and the same was published in the book titled “Rammed Earth Construction: Cutting-Edge Research on Traditional and Modern Rammed Earth.” She presented her two other papers in the International symposium on earthen structures, 2018.

     She is an Enthusiastic Researcher who has a deep sense of passion towards research on emerging materials, energy conservation and sustainable development. Her driving force for research is her sense of curiosity and always keen to explore new fields and to be associated in solving challenging and real time problems for the upliftment of our society, and more importantly to propagate the knowledge of sustainable building materials that can bring about a great positive impact on our Mother Earth.

     Apart from her research interest, she is a Bharatanatyam dancer, a novice poet and writer, a music lover, a passionate chef and a crazy dog lover!
